The Parent/Student Course Information Documents outline the expectations for all core and elective/exploratory courses offered in VBCPS middle schools - middle school students take six courses per year. The academic core includes English, mathematics, science, social studies and health and physical education. The Secondary School Curriculum Guide is available to assist students in grades six, seven and eight and their parents with the selection of courses.
